Holy Crap. I Suck. And Other Random Gaming Thoughts.
I downloaded Geometry Wars 2 today. I’m terrible. I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t played GeoWars in over a year or what, but wow…. I BARELY broke 200k. Whew. I need to get workin’ on that if I wanna get on there and kick some ass.
Last weekend James and I rented Mario Kart for the Wii and gave it a try. I loved the game so so so so so much. (and I also enjoyed kicking James’ butt at it too!) But here’s the thing. I think XBL has spoiled the heck out of me with it’s online capabilities. A friend and I wanted to race each other over Nintendo WiFi, and it took at least 45 minutes to an hour to get the friend codes exchanged, both of us connected, and get a game going. I know I’m just sounding like a broken record when it comes to complaining about Nintendo’s online features, but REALLY, Nintendo? REALLY??!?! Here’s hoping the love of my life, Animal Crossing has an easier system hopping from town to town.
I’m also partaking in 1UP:FM’s backlog. Right now we are playing Psychonauts. So far I think it’s really cute! Has anyone else played it? Are you playing along with 1UP:FM as well?
